and the best part - I was given everything I need to start making my own cake pops
unfortunately things in the kitchen haven't been going too well for me
and I've heard these can be pretty challenging
so we'll see when I take them on
I guess I should finish eating my christmas gift basket first!
Those cake pops are so cute! I tried making my own for the first time last year - and surprisingly, they weren't that hard. I used cubes of floral foam (from the dollar store) to stick the sticks in while the chocolate set. I'd also suggest covering them in some sort of sprinkles, because even though they will turn out great, they will never look as good as the ones we see on the internet.

Thanks Jen - I do think sprinkles must be key. My cousin (who made these for me) also said that she uses candy melts to coat them on the outside and then instantly sticks them in the freezer for a couple of minutes to chill them. I'm thinking I am ready to try! Off to Michael's!
